Your presentation was very confident and it is good to see you start to take contrrol of your project in Jaiden's absence.

I liked the locations that you have chosen and they are definitely appropriate for the genre. I was a bit worried that you either didn'y, or couldn't, explain why videos of the rap/hip hop genre shoose those locations. When discussing the typical features of the genre use the vocab GENERIC CONVENTIONS and ICONOGRAPHY. You could also refer to ASPIRATIONAL IMAGES - these are images that would make the audience want to try and live up to the standards they see in the video (in terms of power and wealth).

In your research you need to make more specific lijnks to the genre you have chosen and show that your ideas are inspired by existing videos from that genre. Watch loads of videos from different eras in hip hop and rap and you will see that it is a much more varied genre than you might expect What are you going to do to ensure your video is creative and stands out.

Also identify opportunities to demonstrate good camera effects and editing effects to ensure you get into the higher mark band.

I liked your idea of the artist moving from images of hardship and struggle to prosperity - think about how you will signify this (remember Semiotics - signifier and the signified?) through media language e.g. props, costumes, colour, lighting, locations, facial expressions, camera shots etc.

You got some useful feedback from the group - Fahad's point about making sure the costumes are carefully selected, rather than just your mates wearing whatever they happened to have on that day, is a good one. Keep it mind. Be confident enough to boss your actors around.

A good start to a promising project, can't wait to see some more detailed research.
